Kidz on Stage Finalists Announced

Congratulations to those who those who have been selected to compete in the final competition on February 18, 2012 at 6:30 at the Capitol. Those who have been selected have a MANDATORY rehearsal on Wednesday, February 15 at 4:30 pm at the Capitol. Finalists will be personally contacted with further instructions.

Fundraising for the Run/Walk for Children

The Total Fitness Connection Run & Walk for Children to benefit Family Enrichment Center will be held on March 30 and 31, 2012. You can help by raising money to help us work to prevent child abuse in south central Kentucky. This packet gives you all the information you need to raise money alone, or as a team.

Fundraising Dates Set

With all the stories in the news it is more important than ever that we continue to offer programs to the community in an effort to prevent child abuse. We cannot do this without your help. Fundraising events have been scheduled.
Buckets of Hope will begin on January 23rd and end on February 3rd. Watch for news from your child's school and help us by sending change to school with them. Prizes include meals donated by Wendy's of Bowling Green, Bruster's Ice Cream Party and Parent Teacher Gift Certificates!
US Bank's Kidz on Stage (formerly Funniest Kids Around) will be held on February 18, 2012 at the Capitol Arts Theatre. Kids from kindergarten through sixth grade will be invited to audition on January 29, 2012 from 1-4pm at the Capitol. They may sing, dance, play an instrument, tell jokes, or perform any other wonderful talent they would like. Children will then be chosen to compete on the 18th and be eligible to win great prizes.
Total Fitness Connection's Run & Walk for Children will be held on March 31, 2012. For more information go to: runwalkky.com.
We are partnering with the Hot Rods to do Home Run for Kids, a celebrity concert, on April 21st after the Hot Rods game. Be on the lookout for more information about this fun, family event.
