Creating LifeLong Readers: Reading to Toddlers

Read Across America Week

Tips for selecting books for baby:

  • Cloth or plastic books work well because they can be washed and won't fall apart when wet.

  • Touch-and-feel books are a great option to give your baby new textures to feel.

  • Books with simple, large pictures work great because they have no plot and can be started and stopped anytime.
