QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior teaching experience preferred

High School education minimum requirement

Ability to work with children, parents, and a variety of professionals

Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records and communications

Ability to work as a cooperative team member with shared responsibilities

Must be physically and mentally able to work with young children-vision and hearing must be adequate to supervise children in classrooms and on playground

Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours, Monday-Friday between 7:30 AM and 6 PM.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Assist teaching staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and active child oriented environment
-
Assist the teaching staff in the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate early childhood program and child supervision in conjunction with Wee Care Director and Executive Director

Stimulate awareness and promote Family Enrichment Center programs and services

Bachelor Degree in Social Service field preferred

Prior human services experience preferred

Must be able to make written reports and observation of cases for court purposes
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Assume responsibility for implementing visitation services in conjunction with the Supervised Visitation Coordinator and Director of Programs.

Adhere to all Family Enrichment Center policies and procedures
-
Adhere to all Supervised Visitation Guidelines
-
Make recommendations for improvements in program policy and/or practices
-
Participate in training and specialized workshops as required
-
Stimulate awareness and promote Family Enrichment Center programs and services


Parents as Teachers, Parent Educator
Full-Time, daily travel within 10-county region required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Development, Social Work or related field preferred

Prior case management preferred
-
Knowledge of early childhood development/education

Knowledge of community resources and services
-
Ability to work with children, parents, the public, and a variety of professionals

Ability to work independently

Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records and communications

Ability to create written reports and observations
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Maintain client spreadsheet, both accurately and timely
-
Work with Coordinator to establish rapport with schools, community agencies, etc.
-
Establish rapport with incoming and existing families to determine family needs, strengths, areas of improvement, and other areas
-
Provide families with a minimum of one monthly home visit
-
Work with parents individually and/or within a group in strengthening their capacity for parenting their children and assist parents in providing relevant at-home activities
-
Conduct Ages & Stages screenings with each child/family in the program to ensure their progress towards Kindergarten readiness
-
Stimulate Community Awareness and promote programs and services provided by FEC
