Wee Care Center Manager

Full-Time

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior teaching experience preferred

  • Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Development related field preferred.

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role.

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records and communications.

  • Must be physically and mentally able to work with young children-vision and hearing must be adequate to supervise children in classrooms and on playground

  • Must be available to work 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday between 7:30 AM and 6 PM. 

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the childcare center with the support of the Director.

  • Maintain daily attendance sheets and Federal Food Program documentation. 

  • Coordinate with Lead  Staff to plan/implement parent activities and center events.

  • Assist the teaching staff in the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate early childhood program and child supervision in conjunction with Wee Care Director.

Paren Engagement Director

Parent Engagement Director

Full-Time

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Services related field preferred.

  • Prior experience working with schools and or court system preferred.

  • Ability to work with children, parents and a variety of professionals.

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role.

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records and communications.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise parent support-related program staff (Parent Education, Supervised Visitation & ViSE.)

  • Work with local schools to schedule parent engagement meetings for children who are not attending school regularly. 

  • Facilitate PEM with families, DCBS staff, and school staff to identify issues and develop a plan of action.

  • Adhere to all Family Enrichment Center policies and procedures.

  • Stimulate awareness and promote Family Enrichment Center programs and services.

Parents as Teachers, Little Learners Parent Educator

Full-time Educator

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior teaching or home visitation experience preferred

  • Bachelor degree in human services or related field preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Ability to work with children, parents, and a variety of professionals

  • Must be physically and mentally able to work with young children.

  • Must be able to work 37.5 hours per week with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends on occasion. 

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish rapport with incoming and existing families to determine family needs, strengths, areas of improvement, and other areas.

  • Provide families with a minimum of monthly home visits.

  • Organize group meetings/activities for families. 

  • Work with Director to build rapport with schools, community agencies, etc.

  • Conduct Ages & Stages screenings with each child/family in the program to ensure their progress towards Kindergarten readiness.

  • Refer children and families for additional, necessary services

  • Attend community planning meetings

Supervised Visitation Monitor

Part-Time

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Service field preferred

  • Prior human services experience preferred

  • Ability to work with children, parents and a variety of professionals

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to work with the public and community groups

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records and communications

  • Ability to work as a cooperative team member with shared responsibilities

  • Must be able to make written reports and observation of cases for court purposes

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assume responsibility for implementing visitation services in conjunction with the Supervised Visitation Coordinator and Director of Programs.

  • Adhere to all Family Enrichment Center policies and procedures

  • Adhere to all Supervised Visitation Guidelines

  • Make recommendations for improvements in program policy and/or practices

  • Participate in training and specialized workshops as required

Wee Care Childcare Teacher

Full and Part-Time opportunities available!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior teaching experience preferred

  • High School education minimum requirement

  • Ability to work with children, parents, and a variety of professionals

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records and communications

  • Ability to work as a cooperative team member with shared responsibilities

  • Must be physically and mentally able to work with young children-vision and hearing must be adequate to supervise children in classrooms and on playground

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours, Monday-Friday between 7:30 AM and 6 PM. 

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist teaching staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and active child oriented environment

  • Assist the teaching staff in the implementation of a developmentally appropriate early childhood program and child supervision in conjunction with Wee Care Director and Executive Director
