Monthly ARP Training: Preparing for Life After 18--LifeSet Program
Monthly training provided FEC's Adoption Resource Program available to all Kentucky foster parents. Each training is worth 2 credit hours and meets state training requirements. Guest Speaker: Brianna Martin, LPC-MSHP with Youth Villages.

About the event
This training will discuss the challenges foster youth face as they approach and enter adulthood, including increased risk of homelessness or ongoing abuse as well as economic hardship. It will present the framework of Youth Villages “LifeSet” program that offers mentoring services for children ages 17-22 to improve outcomes and assist foster youth in a successful transition to adulthood.
