Family Enrichment Center is proud to offer Nurturing Parenting® education classes and a one-time Divorce Education Class/Parents Education Clinic.

PARENTING CLASSES: 12 CLASSES
Parent Education Classes are offered by Family Enrichment Center as a 12-session, self-help course. The 12 class sessions are based on the Nurturing Parenting® Program’s evidence-based curriculum. The goal of the program is to assist parents and their children in enhancing their ability to care for themselves and others. Parents will focus on establishing structure, discipline and positive communication skills in order to become an even better parent!
These classes are offered at NO CHARGE to the parent and meet requirements for the Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) and the court system. Both Day-Time and Evening Classes are offered for convenience. Parents MUST complete an enrollment form to register for upcoming classes. All classes are held online via Zoom.

EVENING All-Age Parent Education Classes:
Classes will meet on-line via Zoom from 5:30-7:30 PM for 12 weeks.
DAY-TIME All-Age Parent Education Classes:
Classes will meet on-line via Zoom from 12-2 PM Monday and Thursday mornings for 6 weeks.
MONTHLY Parent Support Group Meetings:
Parent Support Groups will meet online via Zoom on the last Thursday of each month from 5:30 -7:30 PM. Meetings feature a different topic and guest speaker each month. This group is open to all community members! To attend email, Parent Education Coordinator, Tylor Emberton-Lyle.
DIVORCE EDUCATION CLASS: PARENTS EDUCATION CLINIC

Parents Education Clinic is a one-time, court-approved class for divorcing parents in Warren and surrounding counties. The program combines video, activities, skill development, discussion, and other proven techniques to provide guidance for parents to be successful in co-parenting through divorce.
Goals of the PEC program include:

to make parents aware of their children’s needs and fears at the time of separation/divorce.

to give parents ideas and skills to be able to co-parent while going through the divorce and afterward.

to help parents focus on their children during this stressful time.
PEC meets on-line via Zoom the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:30 pm. The ONE-TIME class lasts approximately two hours and the cost is $25.00 per person.
